Running your entire venue
Everything that doesn't happen on the floor, in the kitchen, or at the register is configured here: your menu, your team, your finances, your brand image and the tracking of your business.
Categories & products
Admin → Categories / ProductsYour menu is built on two levels: categories (Drinks, Grilled dishes…) that contain products. Each product can have a photo, a price, translations and, if needed, a stock tracking (see the stock guide).
Tables & QR codes
Admin → Tables & QR codesEvery table you create automatically generates its own QR code, printable directly as a ready-to-place poster.
Create a table
Number or name, capacity, zone (terrace, dining room…).
Print its QR code
PDF poster ready to place on the table, or direct printing.
Team accounts & roles
Admin → TeamOne account per team member, with a role that determines the screen they access — see the roles table on the guides homepage.
Staff scheduling
Admin → SchedulingA weekly view for assigning each team member to a shift. Gestbar automatically refuses two overlapping shifts for the same person.
Taxes & discounts
Admin → Taxes / DiscountsSet your default VAT rate and your reusable discounts (percentage or fixed amount) — they'll be offered at the register when invoicing.
Payment methods
Admin → Payment methodsEnable cash, card, and mobile money (Feexpay) with the operators available in your area. These methods then appear at the register and on the customer's payment page.
Cash session history & cashier alerts
Admin → Cash sessions / Cashier alertsReview every register opening/closing along with any variance. The "Cashier alerts" page automatically flags a cashier who cancels or discounts unusually often over the last 7 days — a useful signal, not an accusation.
Customize your brand
Admin → SettingsYour logo and a primary color appear on the menu seen by your customers — the order button, the review stars, the cart badge.
Loyalty program
Admin → SettingsEnable loyalty and set how many points a customer earns per amount spent, and what they get in exchange once the threshold is reached. Day-to-day management is then done at the register via the customer's phone number.
Online reservations
Admin → ReservationsOnce enabled, your customers can book a table from a public page. Every new request alerts you by notification and by email — useful if you don't keep the application open at all times.
Customer reviews
Admin → Customer reviewsFind here every rating and comment left by your customers after payment (see the customer experience guide).
Reports
Admin → ReportsRevenue, average ticket, payments by method, best-selling products, a breakdown of every invoice over the chosen period — exportable to PDF or Excel. A Stock section rounds out these reports (see the stock guide).
Billing & subscription
Admin → BillingYour plan determines your limits (number of tables, products, team members) and the available features (loyalty, reservations, reports). Renew your subscription by mobile money directly from this page.
Managing multiple venues
If your account has access to several restaurants, a selector appears at the top of the administration screen to switch between them — each venue keeps its own data, menu and team.
Notifications
In addition to in-app notifications, an email is automatically sent to you for events that deserve your attention even offline: new reservation request, suspended subscription, low stock on a product.
